Do we need advertisments?

In my opinion we need advertisments in our lives. The most important reason is that it is the easiest way to find out about a product, event or service. Ads help us in life by e.g. giving us ideas for presents, informing about sales and even new movies. They're beneficial not only for viewers but also for brands or people that create them - they build business and are a source of money. Summarizing, even though advertisements can irritate us by seeing them everywhere, we need them.
