Childhood influence on career

Our careers can be determined by survival strategies we developed as children and cultures we grew up in. As children we learned to search for a feedback on what we should or shouldn't do, especially for living. For example, being the child who had to cheer up a depressed parent might result in becoming a comedian, psychologist or a caregiver. Another thing that may be important in that aspect of our childhood are cultural messages we hear. Paople collectively think there that one job is more respected than the other, which can even be shamed. As children, we absorb that opinions and they often make us to give up our drem jobs.
